Thomas Perrodin sets aside the abstraction of his two first books, as much from a graphic as from a narrative standpoint, for a slow, contemplative and completely psychedelic descent into abyssal depths.
Abysses follows in the steps of Boredom and Essai sur le vide (Essay on Emptiness). A very small print run, a work technique that precludes any possible republication and that
treats every copy as an original work. Perrodin’s book takes on an almost sculptural aspect.
